In order to increase the synergy between leadership and administration, the FAIPG Arabic Language Education student association, Djuanda University is holding education and training (Diklat) entitled "Synergy of Leadership and Administration in Optimizing Association Performance". This activity was held to equip administrators with essential skills to lead and manage organizations more effectively. (25/10/2024)

The material presented includes leadership, organization, correspondence and financial management, as an effort to build a solid and transparent administrative foundation. This training is expected to improve students' abilities in running the organization, as well as foster a sense of responsibility and discipline in managing the association's finances. This training aims to equip participants with an in-depth understanding of organizations, starting from how to join through information from seniors and social media, to management and strategies for facing challenges in organizations.

This activity was held as a forum to develop organizational insight among students, especially in academic organizations such as HIMA and BEM, as well as campus social organizations such as KSR and IVODA.

The training material also covers common problems in organizations, such as "time jugglers" or members who have difficulty dividing their time between two organizations, delays in work programs, and perfectionist desires which often slow down achieving goals. In this session, participants were invited to understand the importance of organizational benchmarks, namely efficient cooperation for mutual progress. This training highlights various benefits for students who join organizations, ranging from the ability to solve problems, learn to be leaders, to managing finances and educating egos to work together in teams.

One of the important things emphasized in this training is the existence of a written social contract as a foundation in the organization. According to sources, a leader must have recognition in three main aspects: political, social and economic. This recognition is considered important to run the organization effectively and responsibly. For students who are still in the early stages of leadership, this training is a learning space to hone their leadership skills in the hope of reducing mistakes in managing an organization. Apart from that, women's participation as leaders is also emphasized in this activity, considering the importance of balancing gender roles in organizational structures.

Apart from being good leaders, participants were invited to understand the concept of leadership, namely the ability to remain good individuals in social relationships. This is packaged in the material "How to Become a Good Person, Not Just a Good Leader", where students are invited to reflect on the importance of positive character and attitudes in everyday life, not just in an organizational context.
