A total of 30 prospective students of the Islamic Education Study Program (PAI), Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education (FAIPG), Universitas Djuanda participated in the Campus Tour & Study program held on June 22, 23, and 25, 2026. Through this program, participants were not only introduced to the university environment but were also given the opportunity to experience attending lectures firsthand before officially beginning their studies as university students.
This free program was designed to help prospective students become familiar with academic culture, learning processes, and campus life from an early stage. In addition to attending lectures, participants also had the opportunity to interact directly with lecturers and active students of the PAI Study Program.
Throughout the program, participants attended four lecture sessions drawn from the core courses of the PAI Study Program. On the first day, Monday (June 22), participants joined the Fundamentals of Islamic Education course from 08:00 to 09:45 WIB, followed by the Moral Studies course from 10:00 to 11:30 WIB. The program continued on Tuesday (June 23) with a lecture on Islamic Entrepreneurship from 08:00 to 09:40 WIB. The final session was held on Thursday (June 25) with the Learning Theory course from 08:00 to 09:40 WIB.
The 30 participants came from various senior high schools, Islamic senior high schools, and Islamic boarding schools across Bogor, Sukabumi, Bandung, and surrounding areas, including Al-Kahfi Integrated Islamic Boarding School, MA As-Syadziliyah Bandung, MAS Al Itqon, MAN 3 Sukabumi, SMA Islam Al-Umm, SMA Nahdlatul Wathan Bogor, SMA Islam HASMI, Al-Madinah Integrated Islamic Boarding School, MAS Darussalam, SMA Amaliah, MAS Riyadhul Ulum, SMAI Daarul Wasiilah, SMK Da'wah Al-Qur'an, Pondok Tahfidz Alqolam, MA Darul Ahkam, and Ar Ridho Sentul.
The program also involved 19 second-semester students from the PAI Study Program who served as mentors and discussion partners for the participants. Their involvement provided prospective students with an opportunity to gain a closer understanding of academic life and student activities within the university environment.
The Campus Tour & Study program was led directly by the Head of the PAI Study Program, Muhammad Kafnun Kafi. In addition to attending lecture sessions, participants were invited to explore the campus environment of Universitas Djuanda, with particular emphasis on the facilities and academic activities within the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Teacher Education, Universitas Djuanda.
Through this program, prospective students gained an initial understanding of the university learning atmosphere, instructional approaches, and academic environment they will encounter once they officially begin their studies. The experience is expected to help them enter higher education with greater preparedness, stronger confidence, and a clearer understanding of the academic journey ahead.
